It covers cold and hot rolled, uncoated andcoated stainless steel sheets andtapes (strips) for exhaust systems, used at GM units worldwide. Thespecification includes chemicalcomposition, physical and mechanical properties, heat treatment andcharacteristic properties.Parameters for surface treatment, welding and filler materials are notcovered with thisspecification.
