Full Description

This test method is used to determine the grain variation of leather,i.e., loose grain. Thismethod is applicable to non-laminated leather up to a thickness of 2.0mm as well as laminatedleather up to a thickness of 5 mm.

Additional a root cause analysis procedure is described for testsamples, where grain variationappears.

This method contains two procedures:

• Method A for non laminated leather.

• Method B for laminated leather
