ENGLISH HISTORICAL VERSION

This test method shall be used to determine the horizontal burn rateof materials used in thepassenger compartment of motor vehicles after exposure to a smallflame.

Note: Nothing in this test method supersedes applicable laws andregulations unless a specificexemption has been obtained.

Note: In the event of a conflict between the English and the domesticlanguage, the Englishlanguage shall take precedence.
