Full Description

This specification shall be used to determine water vapor permeabilityof leather and textiles usedas upholstery trim material.

Definition: Water vapor permeability, as determined by this testmethod, is defined as the quantityof water vapor that permeates through a standard test area of materialin a given time, when thematerial is surrounded on one side by totally water saturated air, andon the other side by totallydry air.
