Full Description

This Test Method is to be used to determine the structural density ofwoven and knitted textilematerials (Yarn Count). For woven materials, this is the number ofthreads/yarns in the warp andthe weft/fill directions within an area. For knitted materials, thisis the number of wales and thenumber of knit stitches (courses) within an area.

Note: Nothing in this Test Method supersedes applicable laws andregulations unless specificexemption has been obtained.
