This specification covers the basic requirements for a corrosionprotective coating processconsisting of zinc phosphate treatment, a zinc rich epoxy resincoating, and an aluminum tintorganic top coating. The coating may be applied by dipping orspraying. Part configuration dictatesthe application process. Internally threaded parts (nut) shall becoated in a canting centrifuge.Parts without internal threads can be coated by other processes.
